Movie Review: The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse

The Way Too Late Review for Eclipse

Sorry for the lateness of this post.

*Warning: Spoilers for Eclipse AND Breaking Dawn*

So yeah. I went to see Eclipse at midnight. I fangirled a bit.

I’m not picky about whether book to movies keep close to the actual book, but I think it’s safe to say: Eclipse to Movie was pretty darn close to Eclipse the Book.

It was action packed, non stop, and it had a LOT to it.

The acting wasn’t the best, but Robert, Taylor, and Kristen have gotten better!

The music went well. I love the soundtrack choice.

The action: Whoa! Lotta action. The whole New Born Army went well, but I wish we could have had a *little* more Bree time. But that might be because I just got through reading Bree Tanner, knowing her story.

Books Worth Reading:

But the action was nice.

I loved the flashback scenes with Jasper and Rosalie. Very well done! I thought maybe they should have had Rosalie COME to Bella to tell her story, like in the book, rather than Bella going to her, but that wasn’t a big deal.

I’ll be honest: The whole tent scene was never my favorite. Not in the book. It was awkward, and I hate awkward.

BUT…it was done very well. It’s not my favorite scene, but it seemed fitting and needed.

Um, what else?

Books Worth Reading:

Oh, yeah! I wish they would have let Edward be the bad guy a tiny bit more. I think they could have shown that Edward was well in the ‘game’ with Jacob. It wasn’t just Jacob who was tinkering around to get Bella, Edward had his part, too.

It was the best out of the all the movies!

I’m terrified to see Breaking Dawn…but I guess I will. That’ll be very…interesting.

No, I don’t think Breaking Dawn will be rated R. *laughs*

No, I really don’t want the see Rob and Kristen, very awkward people, having sex. Or having babies.

Books Worth Reading:

Like I said, Breaking Dawn will be interesting.

What are your thoughts?
