Rules of Attraction

by Simone Elkeles

Hello, hello, Readers! How are you?

I bring you my thoughts on:

RULES OF ATTRACTION BY SIMONE ELKELES!

Book Synopsis (from Simone’s site)

The sequel to Perfect Chemistry!

When Carlos Fuentes returns to America after living in Mexico for a year, he doesn’t want any part of the life his older brother, Alex, has laid out for him at a high school in Colorado . Carlos likes living his life on the edge and wants to carve his own path—just like Alex did. Then he meets Kiara Westford. She doesn’t talk much and is completely intimidated by Carlos’ wild ways. As they get to know one another, Carlos assumes Kiara thinks she’s too good for him, and refuses to admit that she might be getting to him. But he soon realizes that being himself is exactly what Kiara needs right now.

Review

I loved Perfect Chemistry and was very interested at the idea of the sequel, Rules of Attraction.

I was also worried it would be a repeat of Perfect Chemistry. No such case!

Simone has two totally different characters who can make a statement in their own ways. Carlos is a very troubled character in that aspect, though. He tries so hard to be what Kiara not.

Books Worth Reading:

I was always worried for him, because although he did want to be tough, he did realize he didn’t want to associate himself with things that would make some people think he’s though. He didn’t want to sell drugs or be associated with gangs. but, unfortunately he gets sucked into it.

This book made me cringe.

This book had me laughing so hard I couldn’t breath.

Had my heart racing with the (Yes, I counted.) 6 page make out scene. Simone was able to do that without a boring moment.

I was happy with the ending even if it was a little bit unrealistic. Sometimes a stories needs endings like that, though, in my opinion.

Books Worth Reading:

I recommend for anyone with a craving for humor and steamy romance. 😀

Sorry for short review! Will be back with more.
